Comments: The Africana Studies Program and the Department of Criminology “seek the joint appointment of a general specialist in Sociology/Criminology with a research emphasis in race/class analysis who could teach courses in both curricula, including General Education. Specific courses that the successful candidate should be ready to teach include the following options for Africana Studies: Critical Thinking About Race, Sociology of the Black Experience, Race Relations, African American Community, American Inequality, Law and the Minority Community; and the following options for Criminology: Ethnic & Gender Issues in Criminal Justice, Institutional Corrections, Juvenile Delinquency, Community-Based Corrections, Trauma & Crisis Intervention.”
