Comments: “We seek cross-disciplinary, multi-disciplinary, and trans-disciplinary scholarship that strengthens African American Studies’ capacity in psychology, visual studies, philosophy, political science, economics, women’s and gender studies, and law and criminology. More specifically, we seek applicants whose research interests engage with one of the following topics: Structural and cultural causes of and solutions to black inequality; Black cultural productions and responses to legacies and impacts of slavery, Jim Crow segregation, and imperialism in US institutions; How Black intersectionality informs equality and social justice.”
