University of Oregon Assistant Professorship in Cultural Anthropology

Deadline: September 30 (review begins)

Length: Tenure-track

Comments: “We seek a cultural anthropologist who is ethnographically grounded, engaged with cultural theory, and informed in critical race studies. We have a preference for a medical anthropologist whose research may include a topical focus on the implications for culture and health in relation to one or more of the following: environment, migration, reproductive health, mental health/trauma and resilience, chronic disease, and global epidemics. We also value research in the medical anthropology area on how health and inequality are shaped by race, class, gender, sexuality and citizenship. Geographic specialization is open.”
